Cambridge's Sparklefest at Harvard Square in Boston, MA
Holiday cheer abounds at Harvard Square's Sparklefest, a Christmas kick-off event that includes some of the Boston area's most unique family events. You'll never forget the excitement of sailing down the Charles River with the Jolly Ol' Elf himself! The Santa Sails Across the Charles event will bring Santa to Harvard Square from the Galleria Mall aboard the Charles Riverboat.
Once the boat arrives at the Square, a parade will kick the festivities off and lead Santa to the Welcoming Tent. Visitors can enjoy warm holiday refreshments, music and other entertainment here all day long! In addition, the shops, restaurants and other retail venues along Harvard Square will be hosting entertainment, treats, specials and discounts throughout the day!
