Boston History: Tea Party, Salem Witch Trials, & Boston Massacre Tours
The Battle Trail
Cambridge, Lexington, and Concord combines the history of the American Revolution with the homes of many legendary writers.
Boston Literature and War History Few cities in America can stretch their history as far back as the early 1600s and even fewer have had as much influence on this country and its people than Boston. The abundance of historical landmarks and the beauty of the city combine to make Boston a memorable destination. As a major city and influence in the American Revolution, the city's voice whispers in pride the tales of American freedom and democracy. It is in the Boston Harbor that our forefathers threw their famous "tea party". And it is this city that Paul Revere began his midnight ride to warn Samuel Adams and John Hancock of the arrival of the British. To this day, visitors follow the path of Revere's travels on the Cambridge, Lexington, and Concord Tour. For those that choose fine literature over politics, Boston offers up the literary giants: Emerson, Longfellow, Alcott, Lowell, and Hawthorne. (Although, like the Cambridge, Lexington and Concord Tour, Longfellow's home serves dual purposes; it was a carefully preserved historical landmark even when the great poet lived there.) Total Experience Tour of Boston The Total Experience Tour allows visitors to view both the historical and modern aspects of the city. Because beyond the brick buildings and colonial houses, Boston has moved forward to become a city of today. Skyscrapers, parks, and high-rises allow Boston to weave history with the technology and progress of 21st century America. Cape Cod Excursion Tour near Boston On the outskirts of the city, even more treasures await. Visitors to Boston can take advantage of a variety of tours and day trips featuring these wonderful locales. Those interested in the history and glamour of the Kennedy family can take a Cape Cod Excursion Tour, or view the childhood home of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy by touring Fabulous Newport. Less than an hour from the city, Wrentham Village Outlets is a shopper's delight with 170 designer outlets. Salem - The Witch City Tour near Boston Salem-The Witch City Tours allows time to explore the town's shops, restaurants and landmarks and includes admission to Salem's Witch Museum. Pilgrim's Path brings visitors to historic Plymouth Rock. And a tour of Plimoth Plantation will take visitors back to the 17th century as they explore this 'living museum.' Other Tours and Attractions in Boston Fall adds color and beauty to the landscape; The Autumn on Old Cape Cod Tour highlights the very beauty of the changing season. Boston seems to possess an endless list of attractions: The Franklin Park Zoo and New England Aquarium invite children and adults alike to explore nature. Culture flourishes in this city with world-class performers and artists coming together to perform and captivate the audience. It offers mouth watering dinners (there is nothing like a fresh caught Boston lobster tantalizing broiled and basted in butter), great sporting events (home to five professional teams and the famous Boston Marathon), a terrific view of the Boston Harbor, and finally a chance to escape into the romantic pull of this storied New England town. |

Cape Cod Excursion Tour
We took small children which made the long ride a little crazy, but the guide was good and the boat tour was ok. We did not have nearly enough time walking around Hyannis 60min. With kids this was not anywhere enough. I recommend taking a tour that would perhaps sail you to the cape and then a little history, boat tour and at least a couple hours to view the town. Oh a nd the lobster Boat restaurant had decent food, and a nice staff.

We really enjoyed all the information the tour bus driver shared with us and the seeing the beauty of the coast.

Long time
Since I have been able to visit the Aquarium, Since moving to Fla.in 1985, I don't go up to my hometownn of Boston very often now, however, I think it's time to plan a trip. I am amazed at how much the Aquarium has changed and the extras it now has to offer. Last time there, the biggest attraction was the GIANT ocean tank. Time to see the new attractions, including the whale watching cruise, and the IMAX theatre.
