Enjoying Center Stage
Live theatre is typically a type of entertainment that the entire family can enjoy. In existence for more than 25 years, the Center Stage theatre proves that live theatre is alive and well. The theatre is located in Biloxi, Mississippi and suffered damage during hurricane Katrina. However, it reopened in September 2007.
Audiences can enjoy all types of theatre productions at the Center Stage. Comedy and Drama plays such as Neil Simon's comedy Chapter Two and John Patrick Shanley's drama Doubt are common features of the theatre. Broadway musicals and children productions are also performed at the Center Stage. The Center Stage has a regular cast, but often holds audition calls for productions.
The theatre offers shows every day except Monday. The shows typically start at 8:00 p.m. Sunday matinees usually start at 2 p.m. Tickets for shows are usually $13 during the week for adults and $15 on the weekend. The theatre offers discount ticket prices for active military, students, and senior citizens. The Center Stage box office opens at 12 noon and closes at 6 p.m. Tuesday —Sunday.
The Center Stage has a central location. There are plenty of restaurants that make dinner and a show very convenient. There are also other entertainment venues, such as casinos, beaches, and shopping malls near the theatre. The theatre is a popular spot in Biloxi and visited by people from all over the U.S. Out-of-state patrons have access to a selection of lodgings near the theatre.
