The Cycle Tour of Ko Kret lets you discover the best way to see the historic sites of Thailand--by bicycle. You'll start close to the temple of Wat Ko Kriang by the Chao Phraya River. The tour will be a gentle ride along the banks of the river. You will ride by local communities and small towns. You'll see the rice paddies, fruit trees, and orchards that are standing by the river. Twenty kilometers north of Bangkok, you'll come up the ancient island of Ko Kret, where there are no cars. The Mon people of Ko Kret are well-known for their pottery, of which you will get to see many examples at Ko Kret's Ancient Mon Pottery Center.
