The owner and business founder, Marsha Churchill was a mere 23 years old at the time. By 2001, the second store, located in Fernie British Columbia opened and a third opened in 2003 in Banff, Alberta. Each store offers a unique selection of environmentally conscious products including and especially that of hemp based products.
The stores now carry a full line of products including a variety of organics and pipes, as well as accessories. Visitors can find a huge selection of hemp made products for their lives and their home. One of the best selling products that they offer is their clothing line. Featured in all of their stores, all of these clothing pieces are environmentally safe. As new companies specializing in this type of organic product open throughout North America, more products are added to the Hempire line.
Their largest selling products are those of skin care products as well as shampoos, bath products, conditioners, and a variety of environmentally safe lotions. Hemp seeds, hemp oils are still popular choices. No hemp seeds for growing are available at the stores.
