Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop in Baltimore, MD

When Gioacchino Vaccaro opened Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop in Little Italy in 1956, he was armed with authentic Sicilian recipes brought straight from his home town of Palermo. Now run by his son Nick, Vaccaro's continues to produce some of the best pastries in town. Specialties of the house include traditional favorites like cannoli, rum cake, cassata cake, tiramisu, macaroons, biscotti, and gelato, the famous Italian ice cream. A new sit-down café and pastry shop offers a full range of espresso, cappuccino, and specialty coffee drinks. Vaccaro's now has several locations throughout the city, so visitors are never too far away from the cannoli.
