Visitors to Sports Legends at Camden Yards are greeted by Babe Ruth's statue, and for sports fans it only gets better from there. With hundreds of engaging, interactive exhibits that trace the history of the great sports teams and athletes of Baltimore, both professional and amateur, the Museum offers a dizzying collection and guests should be prepared to spend the entire day.
Baltimore's professional teams are well represented from the Colts to the Black Sox, as are collegiate sports teams and the area's unique sports of lacrosse, jousting, and duckpin bowling. World class athletes have dedicated exhibits, including Babe Ruth, Cal Ripkin, Jr., Brooks Robinson, Johnny Unitas, Michael Phelps, and Pam Shriver. The Locker Room offers a bit of fantasy fun as visitors are invited to transform themselves into star athletes by trying on one of the many authentic sports uniforms on display.
