Ripken Stadium is a state-of-the-art, family-oriented minor league ballpark and home of the Aberdeen IronBirds and the Ripken Youth Baseball Academy. The 6000-seat Stadium is part of Cal Ripken Jr.'s Aberdeen Complex, a wonderful undertaking that provides baseball camps, clinics, and tournaments for kids.
The Stadium houses several small fields for use by local youth sports teams and the baseball academy. In addition to baseball, the Stadium hosts soccer games, and its expansive parking lot is often used for autocross racing. The venue features a spacious concourse with plentiful concession stands, as well as several large picnic pavilions open to visitors.
