Anyone who has ever wondered how radios and satellites really work or how electronics have changed the nation will enjoy a fascinating walk through the Historical Electronics Museum. Among the highlights are the Space Sensor Gallery which displays the lunar television camera that broadcast the first steps on the moon, a World War II radio kiosk, a recreation of a vintage radio station with antique microphones and equipment, and the Countermeasures Gallery with its military jamming and receiving gear.
Interactive exhibits teach visitors about the wonders of electricity, magnetism, and the electromagnetic spectrum. The Museum offers a variety of informative themed tours, including Front Lines, a military history tour; Tragedies and Triumphs, a biography tour; and Myths, Misconceptions and Melodramas, a myths and legends tour.
