Established in 1976, Los Amigos was one of the first Mexican restaurants in the Delaware Valley region, and has been delighting patrons with an array of Tex-mex and tradional Mexican specialties ever since.
A meal at the restaurant begins with Aperitivos, or appetizers, which feature delicacies like the Pan Seared Shrimp which is topped with an interesting tequila-Tabasco sauce and comes along with a tropical salsa, Southwest Spring Rolls which you can dip into a delicious avocado cream, Clams in a White wine broth and even the piquant Wings of Fire, which with their spicy chili-butter sauce are definitely not for the faint hearted. You can also try a refreshing Tropical Salad, or savor the traditional Black Bean Soup before you progress to the entrees. Your mains, or Favoritos, as Los Amigos puts it, include the highly recommended Char-grilled fajitas, the tuna and salmon tacos and the burrito sabrosa which has succulent slices of chicken breast wrapped in a traditional tortilla and flavored with an ancho chili relish.
Fans of Tex-Mex can feast on the selection of much-loved meal options like the Colorado Burrito which comes along with cheese enchladas, Mexican rice and a serving of re fried beans. You can also try the Chimichanga which consists of a mixture of seasoned chicken or beef with re fried beans, which is rolled into a tortilla and fried. Tex Mex mains include the sumptuous Gringo Filet which is essentially a combination of oven roasted fillet Mignon and garlic mashed potatoes, served with an assortment of vegetables and the Wasabi Crusted Tuna, which features roasted ahi tuna with Wasabi butter and a tropical salsa.
The restaurant also features a Children's Menu, where young Mexican gourmets can munch on pint size versions of the restaurant favorites. You can also host your private parties and events at Los Amigos or have the restaurant cater to a special celebration.
Lunch is served at the restaurant from 11.30 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday and you can stop by for dinner between 4 pm and 1 am, Monday through Saturday and 4 pm to 10 pm on Sunday.
