The Syzygy Restaurant in Aspen is one of the most novel eateries in the area. It allows you to enjoy fine New American cuisine in a state of the art environment while looking out over the Aspen mountains. In addition the restaurant is known for the best of Aspen jazz, played nightly by a range of musicians and ensembles.
There are two dining areas to choose from, both of which can be booked for private functions and the choice of menus includes a buffet menu, carvery, special menu and a plated dinner service. Choosing the five course chef's special gives you the chance to sample flavors from around the world including the Syzygy's signiture dishes of elk tenderloin and vintage beef. Surprisingly the menu variety is considered miniscule when compared to the available wine list; wine from around the world means that you can sample a different country with each course of your meal.
The back room of the Syzygy turns into a metropolitan jazz club each night where the best jazz muscians in Aspen sing and play together. Even non-jazz lovers will be entertained by the music and ambiance that this quaint restaurant provides and when combined with a meal of fine foods and good wine the evening can officially be called complete.
As well as being able to book the restaurant for a special occasion, you can also hire the Syzygy chefs to cater an outside event and occasionally the restaurant holds outdoor events with huge barbecues and jazz festivals. The restaurant is open seven nights a week with dining from 6-10pm.
