Established in 1993, the Joel Soroka Gallery in Aspen Colorado is a warm, salon-style gallery that showcases fine art photography with a more personal and less commercial approach. Housed in a snug courtyard, right across South Mill Street, the gallery showcases prolific art, sought after by numerous established collectors. As proprietor Joel Soroka proudly states, there are only a handful of places that can complete with his gallery when it comes to this arena.
The gallery exhibits only photography; the inventory is rare and meticulous, representing prominent American and international photographers while also giving up-and-coming artists, handpicked by Joel Soroka himself for their extraordinary skill and viability in the fine arts market, their moment in the sun. A long time member of the Association of international Photographic Art Dealers, the gallery regularly hosts exhibitions and art shows and various venues. The gallery is open from Monday to Saturday during the long winter, spring and summer and fall seasons from 11 am to 6 pm and also by prior appointment on all these days. During the off-season, Mr. Soroka is available only by prior appointment, via the telephone or email.
