Annual Alley Loop Nordic Race

Starting on Elk Avenue, the Annual Alley Loop Nordic Race will lead contestants throughout the town of Crested Butte, and into the trails of Slate River Valley. This is an American Birkebeiner qualifying race, Colorado Cup Series Race AND Crested Butte's largest costume party.

All traffic is re-routed for the safety of participants, and crowds gather in droves to watch this annual spectacle. Cash prizes are awarded for the male and female winners of the 42K and 21K races.
