Antique car enthusiasts will feel like they're dreaming when they step into the Marconi Automotive Museum and get a look at the thirty-million-dollar collection of historic, classic, and exotic cars. The star of the collection is the 1950 vintage red 195 S Ferrari, the 53rd car hand built by the legendary Enzo Ferrari. Other highlights include a 1937 Ahrens-Fox Fire Engine and a mint condition 1929 Model A Ford. Scattered among the classics are various Formula 1 racing cars, including Michael Schumacher's 1996 Ferrari.
In addition to the Museum, founder Dick Marconi started the Marconi Foundation for Kids, which donates a large percentage of the Museum's proceeds to local children's charities and helps raise one million dollars a year to help at-risk youth. Visitors who wish to rent the Museum for special events have an added incentive, as a large part of the fee is tax deductible and contributes to one of the important children's charities supported by the Foundation.
