In addition to fresh produce, specialty items like candy apples, beef jerky, and homemade breads are in abundant supply, as is a marvelous selection of flowers and plants.
Held every Thursday morning on the Center Street Promenade from 9:00 to 1:30, the Farmer's Market also features a unique craft fair where visitors can find Peruvian and Guatemalan objects of art alongside ceramics, sarongs, wood carvings, and stained glass jewelry. An all-around community event, visitors may stumble upon any number of special celebrations, from the Rumble & Rock music series and free summer concerts, to car shows, chili cook-offs, Cinco de Mayo festivities, and community pot-luck dinners.
