With its 10-story, 108-foot tilted Solar Cube lighting up the evening sky for miles around, it's hard to miss the Discovery Science Center. Hundreds of hands-on exhibits will enthrall, entertain, and educate kids from preschoolers through teens. The popular Dino Quest exhibit leads visitors through a prehistoric world full of life-size dinosaurs, fossil digs, and an interactive online game, while modern-world activities include lying on a bed of nails, making tidal waves, and climbing a rock wall.
In addition to weekly activities like Thursday Free Movie Night and the Santa Ana Free Day, the Center hosts many annual events. The Annual Rocket Launch lets kids make their own rockets and release them into the sky, while the BubbleFest is a fun and fascinating journey into the science behind bubbles. The Center is also available for unique birthday parties and events, and can accommodate from 80 to 1500 guests.
