Flower and Garden Festival at the Mission San Juan Capistrano, CA

Gardeners and garden-lovers are invited to the annual Flower and Garden Show in June, held at the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano.

The verdant 10-acres site hosts more than 60 exhibitors and vendors, with an ever-increasing number of plants, flowers and gardening items available.

Proceeds of the festival benefit the "Jewel of the Mission" and the volunteer efforts of the Gardening Angels. The Angels help enhance the Mission's site with gardening work, and by playing a large role in the planning of the festival.s

Live demonstrations, music and food help make this event a day to remember. Past shows have featured special guest speaker Amy Stewart, presenting her best-selling book about the flower growing and selling business.

Admission cost includes the show, and access to the Mission's historic grounds, audio tours, and exhibits.

One of the most historically rich locations in Orange County, Mission San Juan Capistrano serves thousands annually with morning mass, special events, concerts, field trips and much more. Daily docent-guided tours are available for groups up to 15 people, and take about one and a half hours.
