Located in the Fiesta Del Norte Shopping Center in Albuquerque, the Laff's Comedy Club is New Mexico's most popular, full-time adult comedy club.
A great place to bring a date or to just hang out with the gang, the Club dishes out an irresistible blend of rib-tickling stand-up comedy and a scrumptious pub-style menu. The Club has featured several noted comics like Tim Allen, Tommy Chong and Paul Rodriguez in the past and is currently showcasing the comic genius of Troy Baxley and scintillating hypnosis shows, courtesy national touring comedian and certified hypnotist Doug MacCraw. To be an audience to the comic capers here, you must be over the age of 21 years and carry a valid ID. You can even try your karaoke skills at the stage, every night after the show.
The menu is concise and features favorites like BBQ Ribs and the famous 2122 Clark St. Italian beef Sandwich, besides an array of appetizers and desserts. On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, you can drop by at 8 pm for an admittance fee of $6, while Fridays see two shows at 8 pm and 10.30 pm for $8 per person. On Sundays, the club offers you a choice of two shows at 7 pm and 9.30 pm for a fee of $8. You can even reserve a place in the VIP section for $15 per head and sip on a glass of complimentary champagne.
You can even own Laff's for an evening if you can arrange for a minimum of 125 people for weekday shows and an audience of at least 150 for weekend shows. The management requires you to intimate them at least three weeks in advance. You can also hire a comic to regale your personal gatherings for a price of $200 to $800 for a thirty minute show. You can also request for a customized routine at an additional cost.
The Laff's Comedy Club also hosts various events throughout the week with Wednesdays being Non-smoking nights and also an immensely popular activity called Open Mike, where the first 5 comics to show up with two or more guests, get a five-minute spot each.
