Isla La Roqueta which is found off of Acapulco and will give you an experience of a lifetime if you enjoy snorkeling or scuba diving.& This island is known for its pristine waters and abundant marine life. If you are not interested in snorkeling or scuba diving, it's okay because this island has something for everyone.
To get to the island you will have to first visit two beaches that are docks for boats to Isla La Roqueta. Playa Caleta and Playa Caletilla are small beaches and are not usually very populated. If you are looking for a beach that is not crowded by tourists, one of these beaches would be the perfect place. They also have an aquarium called Magico Mundo Marino if you are looking to learn more about the marine life of the area.
Once on the beaches you can get a boat ride to the island for about $3.00 USD. These boats that many of the natives have are made with glass bottoms so that you can see the tropical fish underneath you. This is the best way to see the underwater views without having to get into the water.
Once you get on the island, you will have the chance to try many of the native foods of the island. Much of the food that you will find on the beach is fish but the fish is fresh and prepared in ways that bring out the true flavor of the catch. While on the island, you will be able to view many of the luxury boats that dock off the island. You will also be able to take part in water sports if you are looking for those types of activities.
