Located on Avenida Costera Miguel Alemán, with its doors wide open to welcome the vibrancy of the Acapulco avenues, El Zorrito offers visitors delicious Mexican fare at extraordinarily reasonable rates.
The festivity never ends at El Zorrito and is palpable from the vividly themed décor, the lively music by the Mariachi trio and of course, the cheerful smiles on all the faces which step into the restaurant. In fact, you can even dedicate a song to your group and have the band serenade you at your table!
The food is just as delectable as the ambience and has delicacies like menudo, enchiladas, 'pozole' which is a pork and hominy soup. And while you're there, don't forget to try out the restaurant's signature dish which is a delightful combination of tender strips of grilled beef served with tacos, enchiladas, guacamole and beans. And even before your food gets to the table, El Zorrito treats you to tacos and tortillas served with salsa, guacamole and a creamy sauce of smashed beans called frijoles refritos.
To wash it all down, you can opt for some ice-cold Mexican beer, Sol or Corona. If you prefer something non-alcoholic, there's always the fresh lemonade for you to sip on. Service is very attentive and always with a smile.
The restaurant opens at 9 am and shuts when the party ends... in fact it is not uncommon to find the last visitors leaving at 7 in the morning the next day!
