Dino's in Acapulco, Mexico

If you get a hankering for great Italian food while visiting Acapulco, there is only one word that comes immediately to mind: Dino's. No I'm not talking about an age-old dinosaur from the Flintstone's cartoon but the Italian restaurant with a nice view of the water. Whether you are dining indoors or out at Dino's you will be made to feel like family with the personal attention of a well-trained wait staff.

The food is the star however at Dino's in Acapulco, as it should be. With all kinds of wonderful pasta dishes the staff at Dino's pride themselves in offering monumentally sized portions that are suitable for sharing or saving for later if you can manage to put your fork down. The problem is that the food is as delicious as the portions are generous making moderation more than a tad bit difficult. Wine lovers will appreciate the wine selection at Dino's as well and you really should at least attempt to tear yourself away from the delightful mountains of pasta with enough room left over to enjoy dessert.

While it is always nice to try local cuisines when vacationing it is nice to work a few favorite dishes into the plans as well. Seafood and Mexican food are great but after a few days it's time to try a little pasta. On these occasions you should go where the locals go for great Italian food and make plans to spend an evening at Dino's in Acapulco. Just be sure to bring your appetite along with you.
