Acapulco Nightlife: From Dusk till Dawn

The Mexican culture is one defined by passion and by celebration. While Cancun may still have the bad boy reputation, anyone who has actually been to Acapulco knows that it has a steamy and vibrant nightlife. Whether you are looking for hot nightclubs, all-you-can-drink bars or something a little classier in the way of dining, Acapulco is a vacation destination that has something for everyone. When the lights go out and it's time for the adults to play there are many establishments you may want to sample.

Disco bars charge an admittance price to get in but the groovy news is that many bars will give you free drink! What are some of the most popular Disco clubs in the city? El Alebrije has been mentioned often by satisfied guests, though some report it is mostly a "young" crowd. Baby'O is another popular choice and is open to all ages. Disco Beach in La Condesa is a casual club with an all you-can-drink bar and dancing. B & B Disco actually has two levels you can tour and is considered one of the better disco clubs in the area.

What if you're looking for something a bit more festive? There are non-Disco bars in town such as Ninas' Salsa Club with music, dancing and celebrity impersonators. The Baby Lobster Bar seems to have garnered a reputation for being a bit rowdy, and dancing has been known to make its way from the floor to the table tops.  But who's complaining when you're in Acapulco looking for nightclubs? The general consensus on where to go for a rowdy bar where anything can happen? Sr. Frog's! Not only is it a hot place to visit during Spring and Summer break, it's also named after a frog. You know someone's been drinking!
 
If the impudence of youth disturbs you then you can always take the missus out for a five-star dinner. Carlos 'n' Charlie's offers a laid-back atmosphere and nice dinner while the El Alebrije promotes good dining and good music by renowned singers for the mature crowd. Finally, when you're all exhausted from the Acapulco nightlife, don't forget one great place to sit back and relax: the beach! What better way to end a perfect date with your new friend or old faithful than by relaxing on the beach looking up at the beautiful Acapulco stars?
