Country Side & Coyuca Lagoon
You'll enjoy coconut plantations, stunning beaches, incredible vistas spread out below you and many other wonders during your excursion into the countryside with the Country Side & Coyuca Lagoon. Your tour begins with a 20-minute tour of the beautiful countryside as you travel towards Pie de la Cuesta. Once you arrive, you will enjoy a full 20 miles of pristine beaches. The freshwater lagoon is an ideal place for a refreshing dip (the ocean side has strong currents that can be dangerous). Enjoy one of the quaint beachfront restaurants or shops at the lagoon, before heading out for the rest of your tour.
The next stop on the tour will be an authentic coconut plantation, where you will enjoy a fresh picked coconut and the delicious milk it contains. Sample the coconuts and wander the plantation before heading out for the rest of your tour. Next, you will visit Coyuca Lagoon, where you will board a boat and tour the amazing mangroves. Here, you will see more than 250 species of birds, as well as many marine creatures. Water hyacinths bloom along the surface of the water as you enjoy a refreshing beverage on your water cruise. After your boat tour, you will be taken back to the club, where you can grab a bite to eat. Enjoy an authentic Mexican buffet, complete with traditional items like salsa, totopos, guacamole and fresh fish. You will also enjoy a wide selection of local beers and liquors for your delight.
